Chapter on the Obligation of Congregation and Excuses Permitting Its Omission - What was feared for those absent from congregation in the Prophet's time
Hadith Number: 2099
اخبرنا اخبرنا ابو عروبة ، قال: حدثنا عبد الجبار بن العلاء ، قال: حدثنا مروان بن معاوية ، قال: حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد ، قال: حدثني نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، قال:" كنا إذا فقدنا الإنسان في صلاة الصبح والعشاء اسانا به الظن" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Whenever we did not find someone present in the Fajr or Isha prayer, we would think ill of him.
