Chapter on the Obligation to Follow the Imam - The reason for commanding the straightening of rows
Hadith Number: 2171
اخبرنا عمر بن محمد الهمداني ، حدثنا محمد بن عبد الاعلى ، حدثنا خالد بن الحارث ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن قتادة ، عن انس ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " اتموا صفوفكم، فإن تسوية الصف من تمام الصلاة" .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Complete your rows, for indeed straightening the rows is part of the completion of prayer."
