Chapter on the Obligation to Follow the Imam – Command to Pray in Shoes or Remove Them and Place Them Between the Feet
Hadith Number: 2182
اخبرنا ابن سلم ، حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن إبراهيم ، حدثنا بشر بن بكر ، حدثنا الاوزاعي ، حدثني محمد بن الوليد الزبيدي ، عن سعيد المقبري ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " إذا صلى احدكم فخلع نعليه فلا يؤذ بهما احدا وليجعلهما بين رجليه، او ليصل فيهما" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "When a person, while performing prayer, removes his shoes, he should not cause harm to anyone with them; rather, he should place them between his two feet or else wear them and perform the prayer."
