Chapter on the Obligation to Follow the Imam – Prohibition for Women to Wear Perfume When Attending Congregational Isha
Hadith Number: 2215
اخبرنا ابن خزيمة ، قال: حدثنا يحيى بن حكيم ، قال: حدثنا يحيى القطان ، قال: حدثنا ابن عجلان ، قال: حدثنا بكير بن عبد الله بن الاشج ، عن بسر بن سعيد ، عن زينب ، امراة عبد الله بن مسعود، انها سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " إذا شهدت إحداكن العشاء، فلا تمس طيبا" .
Lady Zainab, may Allah be pleased with her, who is the wife of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates: She heard the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "When any woman among you participates in the 'Isha prayer, she should not have applied perfume."
