Chapter on What is Disliked and Not Disliked – Permissibility to Pray with a Woman in Front if She is a Close Relative
Hadith Number: 2341
اخبرنا عمر بن محمد الهمداني ، قال: حدثنا حفص بن عمرو الربالي ، قال: حدثنا عمر بن علي ، عن هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، عن عائشة ، قالت:" كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يصلي من الليل وانا راقدة معترضة بينه وبين القبلة على الفراش الذي يضطجع عليه هو واهله" .
Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to perform prayer at night, and I would be lying on the bedding between him and the Qiblah, in the widthwise direction. This was the bedding upon which the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his wife used to rest.
