Chapter on What is Disliked and Not Disliked – Command to Suppress Yawning as Much as Possible
Hadith Number: 2357
اخبرنا ابو خليفة ، قال: حدثنا موسى بن إسماعيل ، قال: حدثنا إسماعيل بن جعفر ، عن العلاء ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " التثاؤب من الشيطان، إذا تثاءب احدكم، فليكظم ما استطاع" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Yawning is from the devil, so when a person feels like yawning, he should try his best to restrain it."
