Sayyiduna Rabi’ bin Ka’b Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I spent the night near the chamber of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when he was performing voluntary prayers at night, so I kept listening to him. He was reciting:“Glory be to the Lord of all the worlds.”You kept reciting this for quite a while,“Allah, the Exalted, is free from every defect, and all praise is due to Him alone.”
