باب قضاء الفوائت - ذكر خبر قد يوهم غير المتبحر في صناعة الأخبار والتفقه في متون الآثار أن الصلاة الفائتة تعاد في الوقت التي كانت فيه من غدها
Chapter on Making Up Missed Prayers - Mention of a narration that may seem to the untrained that a missed prayer should be repeated at the same time the next day
Hadith Number: 2649
اخبرنا محمد بن إسحاق بن خزيمة ، قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن منصور ، قال: حدثنا ابو داود ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن ثابت ، عن عبد الله بن رباح ، عن ابي قتادة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم واصحابه لما ناموا عن الصلاة، قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " صلوها الغد لوقتها" .
Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his companions slept through the night, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You all should perform it tomorrow at its (prescribed) time.
