Hadith Number: 2728
اخبرنا عمر بن محمد الهمداني ، قال: حدثنا عيسى بن حماد ، قال: اخبرنا الليث ، عن سعيد المقبري ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " لا يحل لامراة مسلمة تسافر مسيرة ليلة إلا ومعها رجل ذو حرمة منها" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "It is not permissible for any Muslim woman to travel for one night except that a mahram man is with her."
