Chapter on Prostration of Recitation - Recommendation to prostrate when reciting“Recite in the name of your Lord”
Hadith Number: 2767
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا ابو بكر بن ابي شيبة ، قال: حدثنا ابن عيينة ، عن ايوب بن موسى ، عن عطاء بن ميناء، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: " سجدنا مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في إذا السماء انشقت و اقرا باسم ربك الذي خلق" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We performed the prostration of recitation (sajdah tilawah) behind the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) in Surah Inshiqaq and Surah Al-Alaq.
