Fear Prayer - Description of fear during confrontation with the enemy
Hadith Number: 2868
اخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله بن الجنيد ، قال: حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد ، قال: حدثنا ابو عوانة ، عن بكير بن الاخنس ، عن مجاهد ، عن ابن عباس ، قال: " فرض الله جل وعلا الصلاة على لسان نبيكم صلى الله عليه وسلم، في الحضر اربعا، وفي السفر ركعتين، وفي الخوف ركعة" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: Allah Almighty has made the command of prayer obligatory through the tongue of your Prophet, which will be four rak'ahs in residence, two rak'ahs in travel, and one rak'ah in a state of fear.
