Patience and Reward for Illness and Afflictions - Allah intends good for those afflicted with repeated calamities
Hadith Number: 2907
اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب ، قال: حدثنا القعنبي ، عن مالك ، عن ابن ابي صعصعة ، عن سعيد بن يسار ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من يرد الله به خيرا يصب منه" ، قال ابو حاتم رضي الله عنه: ابن ابي صعصعة هذا: هو محمد بن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن ابي صعصعة من سادات اهل المدينة.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Allah intends good for a person, He puts him to trial." (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says: The narrator named Ibn Abu Sa’sa’ah is Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman bin Sa’sa’ah, who is among the chiefs of the people of Madinah.)
