The Sick and Related Matters - The Prophet (peace be upon him) would often pray for the sick as described
Hadith Number: 2972
اخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله بن الجنيد ، قال: حدثنا إبراهيم بن يوسف ، قال: حدثنا ابو الاحوص ، عن منصور ، عن إبراهيم ، عن الاسود ، عن عائشة ، قالت: كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، إذا اتي بالمريض يدعو، ويقول:" اذهب الباس رب الناس اشف انت الشافي، لا شفاء إلا شفاؤك شفاء لا يغادر سقما" .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: When a sick person was brought to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) would recite this supplication. He (peace be upon him) would say: "Remove the illness, O Lord of the people, grant healing, You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing. Grant such a healing that leaves behind no illness."
