Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from his father (Imam Baqir, may Allah be pleased with him) the statement of Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both): Whenever the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned the Day of Judgment, his cheeks would turn red, his passion would increase, and his voice would become loud, as if he were warning an army that it was about to attack you. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: "I am closer to the believers than their own selves. Whoever leaves behind wealth, it will go to his family, and whoever leaves behind debt or dependents, their payment is my responsibility or they are entrusted to me, because I am closer to the believers."
