Section on the funeral prayer – Permissibility of praying over the grave
Hadith Number: 3083
اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب الجمحي ، قال: حدثنا ابو الوليد الطيالسي ، قال: حدثنا شريك ، عن عثمان بن حكيم ، عن خارجة بن زيد بن ثابت ، عن عمه يزيد بن ثابت " ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى على قبر فلانة، فكبر اربعا" .
Sayyiduna Yazid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the funeral prayer at the grave of a certain woman; he (peace be upon him) said the takbeer four times.
