Hadith Number: 3089
اخبرنا ابو عروبة ، قال: حدثنا المغيرة بن عبد الرحمن الحراني ، قال: حدثنا وهب بن جرير ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن إسماعيل بن ابي خالد ، عن الشعبي ، عن ابن عباس ، قال: " انتهى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى قبر منبوذ فصلى عليه، وصلينا معه" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) came to a grave, and he (peace be upon him) offered the funeral prayer over it. We performed the funeral prayer behind him, following his lead.
