فصل في الدفن - ذكر ما يستحب لمشيع الجنازة أن لا يقعد حتى توضع في اللحد
Section on burial – Recommendation for the funeral escort not to sit until the deceased is placed in the grave
Hadith Number: 3106
اخبرنا ابو خليفة ، حدثنا مسدد ، حدثنا ابو معاوية ، عن سهيل بن ابي صالح ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال:" كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا كان مع الجنازة لم يجلس حتى توضع في اللحد، او حتى تدفن" ، شك ابو معاوية.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would go with a funeral, he would not sit down until it was placed in the grave (the narrator is in doubt, perhaps the words are) until it was buried.
