Chapter on prayer inside the Kaaba – Affirming that the Prophet prayed inside the Kaaba
Hadith Number: 3200
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، قال: حدثنا علي بن الجعد ، قال: اخبرنا شعبة ، عن سماك الحنفي ، قال: سمعت ابن عمر ، يقول: " صلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في البيت، وسياتي من ينهى عن ذلك وابن عباس جالس إلى جنبه" .
Simak Hanafi narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) saying: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed prayer inside the Ka'bah, and soon there will come a person who will prohibit this. (The narrator says) Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) was sitting beside him at that time.
