باب جمع المال من حله وما يتعلق بذلك - ذكر خبر أوهم من لم يحكم صناعة الحديث أن جمع المال من حله غير جائز
Chapter on earning wealth lawfully and related matters – A narration that may mislead some into thinking gathering lawful wealth is not allowed
Hadith Number: 3212
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، حدثنا العباس بن الوليد النرسي ، حدثنا يزيد بن زريع ، حدثنا محمد بن عمرو ، حدثني ابو سلمة ، عن عائشة ، قالت: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في وجعه الذي مات فيه:" يا عائشة، ما فعلت الذهب؟"، قالت: قلت: هي عندي، قال:" فاتيني بها"، وهي بين السبعة والخمسة، فجئت، فوضعتها في كفه، ثم قال: " ما ظن محمد بالله لو لقي الله وهذه عنده، انفقيها" .
Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: During the illness in which the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, he said: O Aisha! What happened to that gold? Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I replied, It is with me. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Bring it to me. It was seven or five (uqiyah). I brought it and placed it in the palm of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Then he said: What would Muhammad think of Allah if he were to meet Allah in such a state that this (gold) is with him? You should spend it.
