Voluntary Charity – Description of the Giver at Death if He Was Negligent in Life
Hadith Number: 3336
اخبرنا محمد بن الحسين بن مرداس ، بالابلة، حدثنا عبد الله بن سعيد الكندي ، حدثنا ابن إدريس ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي إسحاق ، عن ابي حبيبة الطائي ، عن ابي الدرداء ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " مثل الذي يتصدق عند الموت مثل الذي يهدي بعدما يشبع" .
Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "The example of the person who gives charity when death approaches him is like the one who gives something after he himself is satisfied."
