باب آداب الصوم - ذكر الأمر للصائم إذا جهل عليه أن يقول إني صائم
Chapter on Etiquette of Fasting - Command for the fasting person to say“I am fasting”if insulted
Hadith Number: 3482
اخبرنا عمران بن موسى ، حدثنا ابو كامل الجحدري ، حدثنا الفضيل بن سليمان ، حدثنا موسى بن عقبة ، عن ابي حازم ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " إذا كان يوم صوم احدكم، فلا يرفث، ولا يجهل، فإن جهل عليه احد، فليقل: إني امرؤ صائم" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When any one of you is fasting, he should not use foul language nor behave ignorantly. If someone behaves ignorantly towards him, then he should say, 'I am fasting.'"
