باب فضل الحج والعمرة - ذكر مغفرة الله جل وعلا ما تقدم من ذنوب العبد بالحج الذي لا رفث فيه ولا فسوق
Virtues of Hajj and Umrah - Allah forgives past sins for the one who performs Hajj without indecency or sin
Hadith Number: 3694
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، حدثنا ابو بكر بن ابي شيبة ، حدثنا وكيع ، عن مسعر ، وسفيان ، عن منصور ، عن ابي حازم ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من حج فلم يرفث، ولم يفسق رجع كما ولدته امه" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs Hajj and does not engage in obscenity or sin, then when he returns, he is as (free from sins) as the day his mother gave birth to him (i.e., he is completely purified from sins)."
