Virtues of Mecca - The Prophet’s (peace be upon him) unique permission to shed blood in the Sanctuary for a specific hour
Hadith Number: 3719
اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب ، قال: حدثنا القعنبي ، والحجبي ، وابو الوليد ، قالوا: حدثنا مالك بن انس ، عن الزهري ، عن انس ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، دخل مكة، وعلى راسه المغفر، فلما وضعه، قيل: هذا ابن خطل متعلق باستار الكعبة، فقال:" اقتلوه".
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Makkah, there was a helmet on his head. He removed it, and it was submitted to him that Ibn Khatal is hiding in the curtains of the Ka'bah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Kill him.
