Virtues of Medina - Intercession for those who patiently endure the hardship and difficulty of Medina
Hadith Number: 3740
اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب الجمحي ، حدثنا علي بن عبد الله بن المديني ، حدثنا ابو ضمرة ، حدثنا هشام بن عروة ، عن صالح بن صالح السمان ، عن ابيه عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا يصبر احد على لاواء المدينة وجهدها إلا كنت له شفيعا، او شهيدا" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever endures the hardship and difficulty of Madinah Munawwarah, I will be his 'intercessor' (the narrator is in doubt whether these are the words) 'witness'."
