Section – On What Keeps the Emigrant in Mecca After Tawaf al-Ifadah
Hadith Number: 3906
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، قال: حدثنا ابو خيثمة ، قال: حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد ، عن سفيان ، عن عبد الرحمن بن حميد بن عبد الرحمن بن عوف ، قال: سمعت عمر بن عبد العزيز ، يسال السائب بن يزيد : ما سمعت في سكنى مكة؟، فقال: حدثني العلاء بن الحضرمي ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " للمهاجر ثلاثا بعد الصدر" .
Abdur Rahman bin Humaid narrates: I heard Umar bin Abdul Aziz asking Saib bin Yazid about what he had heard regarding residing in Makkah. He replied: Alaa bin Hadrami narrated this hadith to me that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "A person coming from outside may stay (in Makkah) for three days after performing the Farewell Tawaf."
