Chapter on Sacrificial Animals – On Permitting the Pilgrim to Send Sacrificial Animals from Medina
Hadith Number: 3999
اخبرنا محمد بن الحسن بن قتيبة ، قال: حدثنا يزيد بن موهب ، قال: حدثني الليث ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر :" انهم كانوا حاضرين مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بالمدينة، يبعث بالهدي، فمن شاء منا اخر، ومن شاء ترك" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Those people were present in Madinah Munawwarah with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent the sacrificial animal, so whoever among us wished, delayed it, and whoever wished, left it.
