What hais was made from at the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) marriage to Safiyyah
Hadith Number: 4064
اخبرنا عمر بن سعيد بن سنان الطائي بمنبج، وإبراهيم بن ابي امية بطرسوس شيخان عابدان فاضلان، قالا: حدثنا حامد بن يحيى البلخي ، قال: حدثنا سفيان ، عن وائل بن داود ، عن ابنه بكر بن وائل ، عن الزهري ، عن انس بن مالك ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " اولم على صفية بسويق وتمر" .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) served sattu (roasted barley flour) and dates at the wedding feast (walima) after marrying Sayyidah Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her).
