- باب الولي - ذكر البيان بأن الإقرار الذي وصفنا إنما هو الرضى بما سئلت
Chapter: The guardian – Clarifying that the approval mentioned is the woman’s consent
Hadith Number: 4082
اخبرنا ابن قتيبة ، حدثنا يزيد بن موهب ، حدثنا ليث بن سعد ، عن ابن ابي مليكة ، عن ابي عمرو مولى عائشة، ان عائشة ، قالت لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: إن البكر تستحي؟ فقال صلى الله عليه وسلم:" رضاها صمتها" .
It is narrated about Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that she submitted to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): A virgin girl feels shy. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Her consent is her silence.
