Book of Marriage
- باب حرمة المناكحة - ذكر البيان بأن المراد من هذا الزجر الجمع بينهما لا تزوج إحداهما بعد موت الأخرى
Chapter: Prohibited marriages – Clarifying that the prohibition is on combining them, not marrying one after the other’s death
Hadith Number: 4115
اخبرنا عمر بن سعيد بن سنان ، قال: اخبرنا احمد بن ابي بكر ، عن مالك ، عن ابي الزناد ، عن الاعرج ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " لا يجمع بين المراة وعمتها، ولا بين المراة وخالتها" .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "A woman and her paternal aunt, or a woman and her maternal aunt, should not be combined (in marriage)."
