- باب حرمة المناكحة - ذكر خبر قد أوهم غير المتبحر في صناعة العلم أن نكاح المحرم وإنكاحه جائز
Chapter: Prohibited marriages – A narration that confused some into thinking marriage in ihram is allowed
Hadith Number: 4131
اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب ، قال: حدثنا مسدد بن مسرهد ، عن يحيى القطان ، عن ابن جريج ، عن عمرو بن دينار ، عن ابي الشعثاء ، عن ابن عباس ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " تزوج ميمونة، وهو محرم" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) married Lady Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), he was in the state of Ihram.
