- باب حرمة المناكحة - ذكر شهادة الرسول الذي كان بين المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم وبين ميمونة حيث تزوج بها أنه صلى الله عليه وسلم كان حلالا حينئذ لا محرما
Chapter: Prohibited marriages – Testimony of the messenger between the Prophet (peace be upon him) and Maymunah that he was not in ihram
Hadith Number: 4135
اخبرنا ابن خزيمة ، قال: حدثنا احمد بن عبدة ، حدثنا حماد بن زيد ، عن مطر الوراق ، عن ربيعة بن ابي عبد الرحمن ، عن سليمان بن يسار ، عن ابي رافع ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " تزوج ميمونة وهو حلال، وبنى بها وهو حلال، وكنت الرسول بينهما" .
Sayyiduna Abu Rafi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) married Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), he was not in the state of Ihram. At the time when Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) was sent to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he was also not in the state of Ihram. I was performing the duties of messenger between the two of them.
