- باب معاشرة الزوجين - ذكر البيان بأن قوله صلى الله عليه وسلم فلم تجبه أراد به إذا دعاها إلى فراشه دون أمره إياها لسائر الحوائج
Chapter: Marital relations – Clarifying that“she did not respond”refers to refusing his call to bed, not other needs
Hadith Number: 4173
اخبرنا عمر بن محمد الهمداني ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن بشار ، قال: حدثنا ابن ابي عدي ، عن شعبة ، عن سليمان ، عن ابي حازم ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا دعا احدكم امراته إلى فراشه، فابت ان تجيء، لعنتها الملائكة حتى تصبح" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a man calls his wife to his bed and she refuses to come, the angels curse that woman until morning."
