- باب الغيلة - ذكر الإخبار عن جواز إرضاع المرأة وإتيان زوجها إياها في حالتها
Chapter: Nursing during pregnancy – Permitting a woman to breastfeed and her husband to have intercourse with her
Hadith Number: 4196
اخبرنا عمر بن سعيد بن سنان ، قال: اخبرنا احمد بن ابي بكر ، عن مالك ، عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن نوفل ، قال: اخبرني عروة بن الزبير ، عن عائشة ام المؤمنين، عن جذامة بنت وهب الاسدية ، انها سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول:" لقد هممت ان انهى عن الغيلة حتى ذكرت ان الروم، وفارس يصنعون ذلك، فلا يضر اولادهم" ، قال مالك: والغيلة: ان يمس الرجل امراته وهي ترضع.
Sayyida Jazamah bint Wahb Asadiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: She heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "At first, I intended to prohibit intercourse with a nursing woman, but then I thought that the people of Rome and Persia also do so, and it does not harm their children." Imam Malik explains: Gheelah means that a man has intercourse with his wife while she is nursing a child.
