Book of Breastfeeding
ذكر ما يذهب مذمة الرضاع عمن قصر به فيه-
What removes blame from one who fell short in breastfeeding
Hadith Number: 4230
اخبرنا ابن سلم ، حدثنا حرملة بن يحيى ، حدثنا ابن وهب ، اخبرني عمرو بن الحارث ، عن هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، عن حجاج بن الحجاج الاسلمي ، عن ابيه ، انه قال: يا رسول الله، ما يذهب عني مذمة الرضاع؟ قال:" الغرة: العبد او الامة" .
Hajjaj bin Hajjaj Aslami narrates from his father: He said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! How can I fulfill the right of suckling?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "By giving a forehead, that is, a slave man or slave woman (as compensation, you can fulfill its right)."
