باب النفقة - ذكر البيان بأن نفقة المرء على نفسه وعياله تكون له صدقة-

Hadith Number: 4235
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، حدثنا محمد بن المنهال الضرير ، حدثنا يزيد بن زريع ، حدثنا روح بن القاسم ، عن ابن عجلان ، عن سعيد بن ابي سعيد ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حث ذات يوم على الصدقة، فقال رجل: يا رسول الله، عندي دينار؟ فقال:" تصدق به على نفسك". قال: عندي آخر؟ قال:" تصدق به على ولدك". قال: عندي آخر؟ قال:" تصدق به على زوجتك". قال: عندي آخر؟ قال:" تصدق به على خادمك". قال: عندي آخر؟ قال:" انت ابصر" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) encouraged giving charity one day, so a man said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! I have one dinar. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Spend it on yourself. He said: I have another. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Spend it on your child. He said: I have another. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Spend it on your wife. He said: I have another. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Spend it on your servant. He said: I have another. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You know best (where to spend it).
