Chapter: Maintenance – Another narration confirming our view
Hadith Number: 4251
اخبرنا عبد الله بن احمد بن موسى ، قال: حدثنا ابو بكر بن ابي شيبة ، قال: حدثنا جرير ، عن المغيرة ، عن الشعبي ، قال: قالت فاطمة بنت قيس : طلقني زوجي على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" لا سكنى لك ولا نفقة" .
Sayyida Fatimah bint Qais (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: During the blessed time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), my husband divorced me, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You will not receive accommodation or maintenance.
