باب اللعان - ذكر البيان بأن ولد المتلاعنة يلحق بها بعد اللعان الواقع بينها وبين زوجها دون أن يلحق بزوجها-
Chapter on Li‘an – Clarification that the child after mutual cursing is attributed to the mother, not the husband
Hadith Number: 4288
اخبرنا عمر بن سعيد بن سنان الطائي ، قال: اخبرنا احمد بن ابي بكر ، عن مالك ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، ان " رجلا لاعن امراته في زمان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وانتفى من ولدها، ففرق رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بينهما، والحق الولد بالمراة" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: In the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), a man invoked li'an with his wife and denied the lineage of the child (born to that woman). So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) separated the two (husband and wife) and attributed the child to his mother.
