فصل في إحداد المعتدة - ذكر الزجر عن أن تحد المرأة فوق الثلاث على أحد من الناس خلا الزوج-
Section on Mourning – Prohibition of mourning for anyone other than the husband for more than three days
Hadith Number: 4303
اخبرنا حامد بن محمد بن شعيب ، قال: حدثنا سريج بن يونس ، قال: حدثنا سفيان ، عن الزهري ، عن عروة ، عن عائشة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا يحل لامراة تؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر ان تحد على ميت فوق ثلاث، إلا على زوج" .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) and Lady Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrate this statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "It is not permissible for any woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for anyone who dies for more than three days, except in the case of her husband; for him, the mourning period is four months and ten days."
