كِتَابُ الأَيْمَانِ
Book of Oaths
ذكر الإباحة للمرء المضي في يمينه إذا رأى ذلك خيرا له-
Permissibility to fulfill an oath if that is better
Hadith Number: 4352
اخبرنا القطان بالرقة، حدثنا عمر بن يزيد السياري ، حدثنا مسلم بن خالد الزنجي ، عن هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، عن عبد الله بن عمرو ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من حلف على يمين فراى غيرها خيرا منها، فليات الذي هو خير، وليكفر عن يمينه" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever takes an oath and then sees something else as better than it, he should do what is better and offer expiation for his oath."
