ذكر الزجر عن استعمال المحالفة التي كان يفعلها أهل الجاهلية-
Prohibition of pre-Islamic forms of oath-taking
Hadith Number: 4369
اخبرنا عمر بن سعيد بن سنان ، قال: حدثنا ابو نعيم الحلبي ، قال: حدثنا جرير ، عن مغيرة ، عن ابيه ، عن شعبة بن التوام ، ان قيس بن عاصم سال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الحلف فقال: " لا حلف في الإسلام" .
Shu’bah bin Taw’am narrates: Sayyiduna Qais bin ‘Asim (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about making an ally (according to the custom of the pre-Islamic era): so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no making of an ally (in this manner) in Islam.
