Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) sent this message to Banu Lahyan that from every two men among them, one man should set out (for jihad), and regarding the one who stays behind, he said: Whoever among you takes proper care of the family and wealth of the person going for jihad, he will receive a reward similar to half the reward of the one who goes for jihad.
