Chapter on the Virtue of Jihad - On equating the reward of the fighter and the one who cares for his family
Hadith Number: 4631
اخبرنا ابن سلم ، حدثنا حرملة ، حدثنا ابن وهب ، اخبرني عمرو بن الحارث ، عن بكير بن الاشج ، عن بسر بن سعيد ، عن زيد بن خالد الجهني ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، انه قال: " من جهز غازيا في سبيل الله، فقد غزا، ومن خلفه في اهله بخير، فقد غزا" .
Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid al-Juhani رضي الله عنه narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم: "Whoever equips a fighter in the way of Allah, it is as if he has also participated in jihad, and whoever looks after the family of a mujahid in his absence, it is as if he has also participated in jihad."
