Chapter on the Virtue of Spending in Allah's Cause - On the report refuting those who claim the narrator did not hear it directly
Hadith Number: 4650
اخبرنا محمد بن عمر بن يوسف بنسا، حدثنا بشر بن خالد العسكري ، حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن سليمان ، قال: سمعت ابا عمرو الشيباني ، عن ابي مسعود الانصاري ، ان رجلا تصدق بناقة مخطومة في سبيل الله، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لتاتين يوم القيامة بسبع مائة ناقة مخطومة" .
Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man gave a she-camel with a nose-ring in charity in the way of Allah, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, it will come with seven hundred she-camels with nose-rings.
