Numran bin Uqbah Zumari reports: We went to the service of Sayyida Umm Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with her) when we were orphans and young. She placed her hand on our heads and said: O my children, rejoice, for I hope that you will receive the intercession of your father. I heard Sayyiduna Abu Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate that he heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say:“The martyr will intercede for seventy people from his household.”
