باب الرمي - ذكر اسم الرماة الذين قال لهم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم هذا القول-
Chapter on Archery – On the names of the archers to whom the Prophet, peace be upon him, addressed this statement.
Hadith Number: 4695
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، حدثنا ابو موسى الزمن ، حدثنا ابن ابي عدي ، حدثنا محمد بن عمرو ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: خرج رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم واسلم يرمون، فقال: " ارموا بني إسماعيل، فإن اباكم كان راميا. وارموا وانا مع ابن الادرع"، فامسك القوم قسيهم، وقالوا: من كنت معه غلب. قال:" ارموا وانا معكم كلكم" .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) came. The people of the Aslam tribe were practicing archery. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O children of Ismail! Practice archery, your forefather was an archer. You people practice archery and I am with Ibn Adra’. So the people stopped their bows. The people said: Whoever you (peace and blessings be upon him) are with will prevail. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You practice archery, I am with all of you.
