باب فرض الجهاد - ذكر الإخبار عما يجب على المرء من إعداد القوة لقتال أعداء الله الكفرة ولا سيما أسباب الرمي-
Chapter on the Obligation of Jihad – On the duty to prepare strength to fight the enemies of God, especially through archery.
Hadith Number: 4709
اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد بن سلم ، قال: حدثنا حرملة بن يحيى ، قال: حدثنا ابن وهب ، قال: اخبرني عمرو بن الحارث ، عن ابي علي ثمامة بن شفي ، انه سمع عقبة بن عامر الجهني ، يقول: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول: " واعدوا لهم ما استطعتم من قوة سورة الانفال آية 60، الا إن القوة الرمي، الا إن القوة الرمي، الا إن القوة الرمي" .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, say: (Allah the Exalted says) "And prepare against them whatever you are able of power." (The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said) Beware! Power means archery. Beware! Power means archery. Beware! Power means archery.
