باب الخروج وكيفية الجهاد - ذكر ما يدعو المرء به إذا عزم الغزو أو التقاء أعداء الله الكفرة-
Chapter on Setting Out and the Manner of Jihad – On the supplication to say when setting out for battle or meeting the enemies of God.
Hadith Number: 4761
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا نصر بن علي الجهضمي ، قال: حدثني ابي ، قال: حدثنا المثنى بن سعيد ، عن قتادة ، عن انس ، قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا غزا، قال: " اللهم انت عضدي، وانت نصيري، وبك اقاتل" .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) participated in a battle, he would supplicate: "O Allah! You are my Protector and You are my Helper, and I fight only with Your help."
