Chapter on Setting Out and the Manner of Jihad – On the prohibition of intentionally killing enemy women.
Hadith Number: 4785
اخبرنا عمر بن سعيد بن سنان ، قال: اخبرنا احمد بن ابي بكر ، عن مالك ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ،" ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم راى في بعض اسفاره امراة مقتولة فنهى عن قتل النساء والصبيان" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) found a woman killed during a journey, so he forbade the killing of women and children (during war).
