باب الرسول - ذكر الإخبار عن الزجر عن قتل رسل الكفار إذا قدموا بلدان الإسلام-
Chapter on Envoys – On the prohibition of killing the envoys of disbelievers when they come to Muslim lands.
Hadith Number: 4878
اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى ، حدثنا محمد بن ابي بكر المقدمي ، حدثنا ابن مهدي ، عن سفيان ، عن عاصم ، عن ابي وائل ، عن عبد الله ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لولا انك رسول لقتلتك" يعني رسول مسيلمة .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If you were not an envoy, I would have killed you." (The narrator says) This was said to the envoy of Musaylimah.
