ذكر البيان بأن قوله صلى الله عليه وسلم فإن فارقه فلا خيار له أراد به في غير بيع الخيار-
Clarification that "if he leaves, he has no option" refers to sales other than those with an option period
Hadith Number: 4916
اخبرنا عمر بن سعيد بن سنان ، اخبرنا احمد بن ابي بكر ، عن مالك ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " المتبايعان كل واحد منهما على صاحبه بالخيار ما لم يتفرقا، إلا بيع الخيار" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Both parties involved in a transaction retain the right of option regarding the other party as long as they do not separate from each other; however, the ruling of 'Bay' al-Khiyar' (sale with option) is different."
